Between the CUSTOMER and EXPATGROUP.CO as the SERVICE PROVIDER, this AGREEMENT for services provided is entered into, which is based on the terms and conditions that are described below, and in what is not provided here, by current national and international regulations.

– FIRST. OBJECT.

The purpose of this contract is to manage the services described in the equivalent document/invoice issued on behalf of the CUSTOMER.

– SECOND. EXPATGROUP.CO GENERAL OBLIGATIONS.

a) Guarantee the confidentiality of the information provided by the CUSTOMER and the reservation of the content of the documents provided to carry out the hired procedure.

b) Issue the payment receipts, as well as the invoice or equivalent document, and send them electronically to the CUSTOMER.

c) Keep the CUSTOMER informed about the progress of the process.

d) Act with diligence and responsibility in the contracted service using the human, physical and technological means available, without guaranteeing success, understanding that the final decision will depend on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the government entities that intervene in the specific process hired.

First paragraph: When the CUSTOMER made the first payment of the invoice or equivalent document, has accepted the terms and conditions, confirming that he has decided to start the process and that he has the material and immaterial resources to do it. Therefore, once the advice has been provided and the initial payment has been made, no refund will be made if the CUSTOMER desists from continuing with the previously contracted management.

Neither will there be refunds in case of request, inadmissibility, or denial of the process. Only the concepts of payments to third parties that until the moment were not paid to the corresponding entity by expatgroup.co will be refundable. If there is a refund of money and the CUSTOMER’s payments were by credit card or electronic channels, a deduction of 10% will be made for bank commission. If the payments were by debit card, the commission will be 5%. No such deduction will be applied to cash payments.

Note: The CUSTOMER is aware and accepts that after a service has been billed and paid, there will be no refunds, therefore no disputes or claims will proceed through the banking entities to reverse the payment. The CUSTOMER accepts that he/she made the purchase of the service and that he has already received the advisory service from expatgroup.co and is currently carrying out the relevant procedures for his specific case.

Second paragraph: Within the visa service, in case of inadmissibility of the application, expatgroup.co offers the possibility of making only one new application without making an additional charge for the service. This benefit will only be active for 2 months from the inadmissibility date. Keep in mind that, for the new process, the CUSTOMER will have to pay the government fees that may apply.

e) Limitation of responsibility: Loss or damage to passports and other documents. Expatgroup.co takes reasonable precautions with the handling of its clients’ documents, therefore, expatgroup.co will not assume responsibility or compensation generated from it, for events beyond its control, such as failures, losses, damages or document delays, for accidents, robberies, natural calamities, fortuitous or force majeure cases or attributable to third parties, such as courier services or postal services.

-THIRD. CUSTOMER’S GENERAL OBLIGATIONS.

a) Whether the procedure is to be carried out through a specific Consulate or from Colombia, the CUSTOMER should not plan trips during the process to avoid unforeseen events.

b) Pay to expatgroup.co, the total value of the requested service anticipated. Exceptionally, any type of cost overruns or additional values ​​may be charged and these will be duly informed and supported by expatgroup.co and must be paid by the CUSTOMER before the end of the hired service.

First paragraph: Keep in mind that the billing of expatgroup.co does NOT normally include the costs of other entities, that is, extra charges or taxes associated with institutions or government entities.

For Visa processes specifically, the invoice or equivalent document does NOT include the cost of the visa approval fee. Remember that each type of visa has a specific government cost to proceed with the issuance and stamping of the visa. The payment of this cost must be made by the CUSTOMER through any of the means authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and only when the visa has been officially approved. Expatgroup.co will inform the customer and give precise instructions in this regard.

c) Provide in a truthful and timely manner all the information and documentation required by expatgroup.co for the management of the contracted procedure, therefore, before starting the procedure, it is important that the CUSTOMER let expatgroup.co know all the information related to previous visa applications and other relevant situations for the management of the requested process. Otherwise, expatgroup.co is not responsible for the consequences of such a lack of information.

d) In case of a requirement by the Ministry of any further documentation, the CUSTOMER declares that is aware and knows he/she must give the information to fulfill the requirement, in the regulatory time because if the CUSTOMER does not, expatgroup.co is not responsible for the consequences: closing of process, double study payment, migration fine, loss of continuity, etc.

e) If the CUSTOMER applied for a Colombian visa, know that has 15 calendar days from the date of issuance of the visa to make the respective registration before Migration Colombia and request the «Cédula de Extranjería», otherwise, a Migration penalty can be imposed.

f) Remember that the legal stay of the CUSTOMER in Colombia is completely his/her responsibility. Please don’t forget to request to Migration the tourism extension or salvo-conducto, with at least one week in advance, before the time in Colombia expires. Expatgroup.co will not be responsible for the loss of legal permanence or economic or legal penalties that Migration imposes to the CUSTOMER.
